Upon entering our apartment you are greeted by a large solid oak wood door. There is a 6” step and wheelchair access is possible if the guest is equipped. There is an open plan feel, with a moderate size kitchen and lounge living area, separate shower/WC room, bedroom with a king-size bed, and an option for a single travel cot upon request. The engineered oak flooring gives an industrial appeal to the property, and the modern decor is an appealing contrast to behold. Guest’s should have everything they need to enjoy a self-catering holiday or some time away, with this fully equipped apartment. For entertainment, we include a 56” TV in the lounge and a 32” TV in the main bedroom, both with popular subscription packages. The lounge has a bed settee that opens up to a 4′ 6″ double bed and would be suitable for a single adult or child. Also in the lounge/kitchen, in addition to the hot water dispenser, there is a Tassimo pod coffee machine. There is plenty of storage space in the kitchen cupboards, along with the bedroom wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Heating and hot water are ‘on demand’ via a system heat exchanger and the apartment warms up quickly when the radiators are turned up directly on the radiator thermostats.
There is an 18″ floor fan for when it is hot, although the building walls are very thick and create good regulation of the temperature throughout the year.
We offer a single pushbike for hire from the bike shed. It is available upon request for £10 /day with a maximum charge of £30 charge per stay. We include a helmet, lock, lights, bag, and pump.

Due to work commitments I found myself having to come to Plymouth for 24 hours. I found this lovely apartment and was met by the owners. I have to say, I felt sad to have to leave, it was absolutely stunning and so unusual, I believe it used to be MOD property, some really unusual features. And all the necessary appliances for a short or long stay. I can imagine when all the lovely restaurants are open close by it will be amazing. Although some were open for takeaways. It is within easy reach of Plymouth and there is a boat- ferry that takes you to the famous Barbican although I didn’t have time to try it. And just around the corner from the apartment is the River Tamar and you can see across it to Cornwall. I’m told there are also many walks yet again wasn’t there long enough to explore. This is definitely a place I would like to stay for longer and I will be returning.
I recently stayed in this beautiful and unusual apartment for one night whilst visiting a poorly relative. I will definitely be back for longer when I can. What a perfect place to stay. Clean, tidy, and very comfortable.
When the nearby restaurants open again it will make a fantastic staycation. The City of Plymouth is a stone's throw away and so is the County of Cornwall. Some lovely walks too, I can’t wait to come back again and investigate more.
